San Carlos Island

San Carlos Island lies between Hurricane Pass and Matanzas Pass Bridge heading onto Fort Myers Beach. A small island, less than a mile and a half long, offers many diverse types of properties. From large waterfront homes and off water homes on the West end to hundreds of mobile homes on the East end. The island also has many commercial businesses including marine service yards, waterfront restaurants, and is home to the new Coast Guard Station, the Shrimp Fleet, and the Key West Express. There is a lot going on this island that many people never see as they head across the bridge to Fort Myers Beach, but locals know the great lifestyle on the island and the convenience it offers.
